The Shotgun Pro Child Bike Seat is the ultimate child seat for MTB families. It’s lightning fast to attach and remove, has zero frame contact, and is adjustable to fit electric and regular mountain bikes.

Will the Shotgun Pro fit my bike?
The Shotgun Pro seat fits all modern mountain bikes with a standard 1 1/8 inch steerer, including electric mountain bikes. Before purchasing, check your local laws regarding the use of child seats and e-bikes.

Fitting requires 10mm of clearance under the stem. Bikes with stems shorter than 50mm in length may require additional clearance under the stem, the minimum clearance required is indicated in the diagram below.

The Shotgun Pro includes two spacers, for use on two bikes. Installing the Shotgun Pro spacer replaces 10mm of standard steerer spacers on your bike.

Please note that adaptors for use with Trek Knock Block and Scott Syncros headsets are sold separately. The Shotgun Pro is not compatible with bikes that have a quill stem.

The Shotgun Pro seat is suitable for dropper posts and all common seat post sizes, including 27.2mm, 30.9mm, 31.6mm and 34.9mm. Fitting requires 14mm of available seat post space.

Will my child fit the Pro seat?
The Shotgun Pro seat is designed for kids 2 -5 years of age, and up to 60lb / 27kg.

FAQ
Is the Shotgun Pro suitable for road and other non mountain bikes? Shotgun was designed for use on mountain bikes. We don’t recommend using the Shotgun Pro on bikes without front suspension as there is insufficient clearance between the front wheel and your child's feet when turning the front wheel.

What's the max leg length on the Shotgun Pro? The Shotgun Pro has 7 leg length settings, the shortest is 25.5cm, the longest is 35cm.

I don't have 10mm of clearance under my stem, will the Shotgun Pro fit? If you have surplus spacers on top of your stem, you may be able to reposition them in order to lift the height of your stem. This may provide the space required under the stem for fitting the Shotgun Pro.

I don't have 46mm of clearance out from my stem, will the Shotgun Pro fit? If you have 10mm of clearance directly under your stem, but don’t have the 46mm of clearance required for the front clamp of the Shotgun Pro, it may be possible to replace your current stem with a stem that is longer, has more rise, or both.

I don't have 14mm of clearance under my seatpost, will the Shotgun Pro fit? You may be able to lift the height of your seatpost, in order to provide the space required for fitting the Shotgun Pro child seat.

About Shotgun
Based in the North Island of New Zealand, Shotgun are a small team of mountain bike parents with a global vision – to raise the next generation of mountain bikers. In 2016, co-founder Dan Necklen wanted to be able to take his youngest son riding with the rest of the family on longer trails. Knowing a rear mounted seat wouldn’t work on his full suspension bike and the other front mounted options not suitable for his stem and risked scratching his pride and joy co-founder, product designer and MTB Dad Tom Hayward stepped in to help design a child bike seat for parents who have high end full-suspension bikes.

Shipping & Delivery

Please note we are unable to ship selected bike brands, we are currently only able to ship Jamis, Eastern, Cruzee, Globber & Torker bikes. We do however offer Click and Collect from your local Bicycle Superstore.

Shipping
Shipped orders will be dispatched within five business days for direct to door orders excluding orders with stock located at Warehouse 2 which will dispatch within seven business days. We charge a flat shipping rate of $9.95 AUD Australia wide ($14.95 AUD to Western Australia) for all orders (excluding bikes and bulky good items), via Australia Post and TNT. Please note that ‘bulky good’ items will incur an additional shipping fee, this includes indoor trainers, bike trailers, car racks, roof racks, child seats and some scooters. Please see the specific product page for more details.

All orders will be provided with a tracking number once your order is dispatched. Please note a signature is required upon delivery so please ensure you provide an address where someone is there to sign. If you would like to authorise for your order to be left at your door or in your mailbox, please specify details in the delivery instructions. Please note, if you elect for your parcel to be left at your premises, we cannot be responsible if the parcel goes missing. If you're not at home, Australia Post will leave a card or if you have a MyPost account via the AusPost app, email, or SMS.

We currently do not offer international shipping.

Deliveries within Australian major cities can arrive within 5 business days from the date of dispatch. Some interstate and rural areas can take up to 10 business days.

For delivery time estimate please refer to the Australia Post Delivery Calculator and reference the Parcel Post Service. Our distribution centre postcode is 3179. Please allow an additional 2 business days for your order to be dispatched.

Free Click & Collect from Store
You can order products on our website and collect them from any Bicycle Superstore Location. Place your order online and select Click and Collect as your shipping method at the chosen pickup location. Depending on our stock on hand at each location and your product selection, you'll be given your estimated pickup time frame.

Smaller items that are in-stock will be ready for collection within 4 business hours from the time of placing your order. Products that need to be transferred from another location or bikes that need to be built may take up to 5 business days to be ready for collection.

We’ll send you an sms when your order’s ready to collect.

To collect your order you must bring your order confirmation email, valid photo ID (driver’s license or passport) and your credit card used for the transaction to the store.

You can check our current stock at each store location by clicking the find in store button on the specific product page.

Please note Giant, Liv & Momentum products are not available for Click and Collect from our Geelong store.

Returns

In-store Purchases and Click & Collect Orders

For returns & exchanges of purchases made in-store or via Click & Collect please return them to your point of purchase or collection.

Online Purchases

Returns or exchanges will only be accepted for purchases made through www.bicyclesuperstore.com.au. For returns & exchanges of purchases made in-store or via Click & Collect please return them to your point of purchase or collection.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your items must be in their original packaging and condition, unworn, unused and free of any marks or damage and with all original tags attached unless the item is faulty.

We do not accept returns on sale or discounted items unless the item is faulty.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

To request a return or exchange please email webstore@bicyclesuperstore.com.au and include the following information:

·     Your original sales order number.

·     Which items you wish to return or exchange

·     Explain your reason for return & if you require an exchange or a refund.

Returns that have not been authorised will NOT be accepted.

Return shipping must be prepaid and a traceable method to ensure safe and documented delivery. Bicycle Superstore will not be responsible for missing incoming deliveries.
